Lucknow Police Lathicharge Protest
Khabari News Chandauli । उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ में अधिवक्ताओं पर हुए पुलिस लाठीचार्ज का मामला अब तूल पकड़ता जा रहा है। इस घटना के विरोध में पूरे प्रदेश के विधि समुदाय में भारी आक्रोश है।
इसी क्रम में चंदौली जिले के सिविल बार एसोसिएशन के अधिवक्ताओं ने मंगलवार को एकजुट होकर न्यायिक कार्यों का सामूहिक बहिष्कार किया। एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष डॉ. वीरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह के कुशल नेतृत्व में भारी संख्या में अधिवक्ताओं ने न्यायालय परिसर से बाहर निकलकर सड़क पर जोरदार प्रदर्शन किया और अपना विरोध दर्ज कराया।
सड़क पर उतरे आंदोलित वकीलों ने लखनऊ पुलिस और स्थानीय प्रशासन की इस दंडात्मक कार्रवाई को पूरी तरह अलोकतांत्रिक और दमनकारी करार दिया। प्रदर्शनकारियों को संबोधित करते हुए सिविल बार एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष डॉ. वीरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह ने कड़े शब्दों में कहा कि लखनऊ में शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से अपनी आवाज बुलंद कर रहे अधिवक्ताओं पर प्रशासन द्वारा जिस बर्बरतापूर्वक तरीके से लाठीचार्ज किया गया है, उसकी सिविल बार एसोसिएशन चंदौली घोर निंदा करता है।
इस अमानवीय कृत्य के विरोध और पीड़ित वकीलों के समर्थन में ही आज न्यायिक कार्य का पूर्ण बहिष्कार करने का निर्णय लिया गया है।
डॉ. वीरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह ने शासन और उच्चाधिकारियों से पुरजोर मांग की है कि लखनऊ में अधिवक्ताओं पर लाठीचार्ज करने वाले दोषी पुलिसकर्मियों और प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के खिलाफ तत्काल प्रभाव से जांच कराकर सख्त से सख्त दंडात्मक कार्रवाई की जाए।
इसके साथ ही उन्होंने मांग उठाई कि लखनऊ के न्यायालय परिसर के भीतर अधिवक्ताओं के लिए बुनियादी सुविधाओं के साथ एक सम्मानजनक बैठने की उचित व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित की जाए। उन्होंने शासन को दो टूक शब्दों में चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि यदि समय रहते दोषियों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई नहीं हुई, तो प्रदेश भर के अधिवक्ता एक बड़े और उग्र आंदोलन के लिए बाध्य होंगे, जिसकी समस्त जिम्मेदारी शासन-प्रशासन की होगी।
अपनी मांगों के समर्थन में और लाठीचार्ज के विरोध में अधिवक्ताओं ने एक विशाल पैदल मार्च निकाला। इस दौरान वकीलों ने गगनभेदी नारे लगाकर अपना आक्रोश व्यक्त किया।
इस महत्वपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान सिविल बार एसोसिएशन के महामंत्री आशुतोष कुमार मिश्र, वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता राजेंद्र तिवारी, चंदभानु सिंह, विनय कुमार सिंह, राकेश रत्न तिवारी, सुभाष राय, लवकुश कुमार पटेल, अजय कुमार, शंभुनाथ, श्रीनिवास पाण्डेय, संजीव कुमार श्रीवास्तव, रमेश कुमार सिंह, अमित कुमार सिंह, श्याम सुंदर सिंह, सुरेंद्र राम, उज्जवल सिंह और अमित कुमार त्रिपाठी सहित भारी संख्या में स्थानीय अधिवक्ता उपस्थित रहे।

Khabari News Chandauli: The issue of the police lathicharge on advocates in Lucknow is gaining momentum across Uttar Pradesh. In protest against the incident, lawyers of the Civil Bar Association Chandauli collectively boycotted judicial work on Tuesday and staged a strong demonstration against the state administration.
Under the leadership of Civil Bar Association President Dr. Virendra Pratap Singh, a large number of advocates gathered outside the court premises and organized a protest march on the streets. The protesting lawyers termed the police action in Lucknow as undemocratic and oppressive.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Virendra Pratap Singh strongly condemned the brutal lathicharge on advocates who were peacefully raising their demands in Lucknow. He stated that the boycott of judicial work was organized in solidarity with the injured lawyers and to oppose the administration’s action.
The lawyers demanded an immediate investigation and strict action against the police personnel and officials responsible for the incident. They also urged the government to ensure proper seating and basic facilities for advocates in court premises.
The protest march witnessed participation from several senior advocates and members of the Civil Bar Association, who raised slogans against the administration and warned of a larger statewide agitation if action was not taken soon.
